How We Do It

The details that matter on a Tesla: lifting only on the proper jack points with the correct pads so the battery pack and rocker panels are never at risk; lug nuts torqued to Tesla's specification (higher than most cars, and it matters); tire load indexes that respect the vehicle's weight — an EV on underrated tires wears them fast and handles poorly; and TPMS handled with the correct Bluetooth sensors, pre-programmed on our winter packages so the car picks the set up cleanly.

EV tire wear deserves a straight word: instant torque and battery weight mean EVs go through tires faster than gas cars, especially on the driven axle. Rotations on the shorter interval, correct pressures (EVs are sensitive to pressure for both wear and range), and the right tire choice at replacement time are the three levers that keep that cost sane. We will measure, tell you what we see, and never invent work — but we will not pretend a worn set has life it does not.

Good To Know

Model Y and Model 3 owners planning winter packages: order before the rush and the package goes on calmly in the fall. Fitment across model years is not identical — wheel specs changed with updates and trims — so we verify against your exact year and trim rather than assuming last year's package fits this year's car.

A note on foam-lined tires: many Tesla-fitment tires have acoustic foam inside, which changes how a puncture can be repaired. Some foam-lined tires can still be repaired properly by working through or around the foam at the repair site; others cannot. We will assess the actual tire in front of us and give you a straight answer, rather than a blanket yes or no over the phone.
