On-rim changeovers are a straight wheel swap for vehicles whose winter and summer tires each have their own rims. Off-rim changeovers include dismounting, mounting, and balancing on a shared set of rims. Both finish with torque to the manufacturer's spec, pressures set to the placard, and a TPMS check.
